Hemp bran (hemp fiber) is the husk obtained after grinding grain into flour. It retains almost 90% of the nutrients contained in whole grains.
Hemp seed bran contains:
- 49% omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which support the cardiovascular and endocrine systems;
- 30% plant protein (all 20 amino acids), which is the building block of our muscles and immune system.
A natural absorbent that removes toxins from the body. Bran absorbs liquid, swells, and stimulates digestion.
Hemp bran is rich in magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese. It strengthens the nervous system and reduces anxiety.
Application:
- Add to salads, baked goods, soups, yogurts, or smoothies. It tastes great with all dishes and adds satiety.
- We recommend consuming no more than 30 grams of bran per day = 3 tablespoons.
Tips from TM “UKONO”:
- Be sure to maintain water balance when consuming bran. Water helps dissolve dietary fiber and move through the gastrointestinal tract.
- Take bran with food, not instead of meals!
